About us…
Founder, Jackie, pictured here is a Chicago native, with an affinity and what some would classify an obsession, with the ocean. While on a seven day boat trip on the Sea of Cortez, White Wave Yoga was born, with a mission to help clean up the oceans while at the same time inspiring people to carve out space and time in their day to roll out there mat, make some shapes, practice mindfulness or do some meditation.
Jackie is joined in business by her husband, Oriol, a native of Catalunya, Spain. Oriol is an Indycar driver and entrepreneur. He helps support the vision and brand reach of White Wave Yoga, and actually is the one who introduced Jackie to Kundalini Yoga 13 years ago. Little did either of them know back then that she would go on to get certified in this type of yoga in 2016.
The two live in Marina Del Rey with their daughter Ona Jane, Ona in fact means “wave” in Catalan, Oriol’s first language, we weren't kidding when we say Jackie is really into all things ocean!
